Sometimes things get bad... you're broke, alone, and you feel like you've got nothing going for you. Your life is stagnant and depressing.

Just when you think that you are hitting a rough patch, you are reminded of how fortunate you are to be YOU, and to be living YOUR LIFE.

I am very grateful for all of the amazing people that I know. I have been blessed with so many great friends, and such an extraordinary, seemingly infinite family, that I feel like the luckiest man alive.

It's easy to lose sight of that sometimes, and get caught up in a temporary setback. I'm glad that I have days like today to remind me how great it is to be alive, at this time, in this place, surrounded by all of these wonderful people.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. You have all contributed to so many good experiences in my life, which has proven to be consistently engaging thus far. I am truly fortunate to have people like you around to keep things interesting. I wish you all the best, and I look forward to our continuing adventures.
