Contemporary Music

I just watched various music channels for the past 20 minutes, cycling through MTV, VHI, Fuse, IMF, etc.
Every video was for the most atrocious song I've ever heard in my life. I changed the channel, and then discovered an even worse song. It was mind-boggling. I have never heard so much shitty music in a row in my entire life.
I can easily say that popular music is at the lowest point that it has ever been in the past two centuries. If you put the TV on mute, it's quite entertaining; then you get to see a variety of hot women dancing provocatively and giving you seductive glances. But as soon as you turn up the volume, it's all over: you are subjected to the most vapid, shallow, mindless drivel that has ever been recorded.
Case in point: Kelly Clarkson's "Since you've been gone" was the most listenable song.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD WHEN THE BEST SONG PLAYING ON TV IS A KELLY CLARKSON SONG?????????
I am appalled at the music being sold to consumers right now. Clearly, business has taken over, and true artistry has been slain. I pity the youth of today. Hopefully they'll discover the classics.
This is not how our culture is supposed to be.
